Thank you for your interest in leading a class at the 2025 Lakamaga Conference!
The Lakamaga Conference offers River Valleys’ adult members many opportunities to learn more about the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, working with youth, other adults, or celebrating Girl Scouting. It also offers the opportunity to learn new crafts, skills and network while exploring and enjoying all that Camp Lakamaga and the conference have to offer.
While the conference has theme (Find your Drive in 2025), your class proposal does not need to fit into that theme!
We look forward to receiving your proposal! (If you are teaching with multiple people, only one of you needs to submit a proposal)
Proposals will be reviewed as they are submitted.

CLASS PROPOSALS WILL CLOSE ON APRIL 9TH, 2025.

Instruction time would be Sessions A and B with a break and then Sessions C and D.
If your class is longer than three hours, but less than a full dayOR you want to hold a Friday night class OR you want to hold a Saturday night class Please select this option and we will reach out to you about this.
Facilitators will be reimbursed for costs if they submit a Reimbursement Form with required receipts NO LATER THAN SEPTEMBER 30th, 2025.
The planning committee strives to maintain the Lakamaga Conference an equitable experience for all attendees.
As such, if your class exceeds $10 in consumable materials* per person, that additional cost will be passed on to the participants.
*consumable materials are defined as those that can not be reused, just as wood, fabric, beads, food etc.
There is a recommended 6 person minimum and a 25 person maximum capacity for classes as these are the capacities for our spaces. You can let us know your capacity needs under “special requests”.
